FAQ

Common questions.

How is this different from PageSpeed Insights or Lighthouse?

Those tools give you raw scores and technical warnings. I look at the same data plus what a tool can't catch: your specific business context, whether your contact info actually works on a phone, and what's most likely costing you customers. The report comes in plain language, not 47 lines of red Lighthouse warnings.

What if my site is on Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress?

Doesn't matter what it's built on. The audit looks at the live site, not the platform. I'll flag platform-specific issues if I see them, but the audit itself works on any site.

What does the report look like?

A PDF with screenshots, a prioritized list of issues, and a short summary at the top. Usually 3 to 5 pages. You can read the whole thing in 10 minutes.

Will you try to sell me a redesign at the end?

No. The audit is its own thing. If you want help fixing what I find, we can talk separately. If you want to take the report to your current developer or fix it yourself, that works too.

How long until I get the report?

Usually three to five business days. Larger sites take a bit longer. I'll email when I start and again when the report is ready.

Is it actually free, or is there a catch?

Actually free. No upsell, no email funnel, no time-limited trial. I do these because they're a small commitment that often turns into longer-term work for the people who decide they want help. Most don't, and that's fine.
